Detox 101: The Master Cleanse- Update

The Master Cleanse

I have completed the master cleanse!  10 days later and 10 lbs lighter and feeling great! It truly was not as hard as I thought it would be.  I was never tired or hungry.  In fact, by day 3, I had lost the taste for food.  This is exactly what I wanted to accomplish from the cleanse.  I wanted to clean my palate so I could start fresh with a healthier diet and lifestyle.  I’m  no longer craving my previous weaknesses like Zaxby’s, bread, or sweets.  I also haven’t had any alcohol in two weeks and I don’t even miss it!! During my cleanse, I spent an ample  amount of time researching healthy recipes for every meal of the day and snacks.  My goal is to avoid eating any packaged foods as much as I can.  So far, I’ve made my own hummus, protein cereal bars, and vegetable soup and I’m just getting started.  Hopefully, I can keep this up but the recipes I have found are so delicious that it shouldn’t be too hard.  I will be sure to post some of my favorite recipes in the future.  I feel good after doing this cleanse, but make sure you check with your doctor before trying this cleanse or any other cleanse or new diet.
