It’s almost time to pop some bottles and bring in the new year! Do you have your New Year’s party style together yet? I actually have a couple of outfit ideas but no definitive plans yet, but I’ll share my ideas with you. The first look is a play on a feminine tuxedo vibe. Substitute black pants for sequin leggings for some extra sparkle and keep the top subtle with a simple, white halter top. I know shiny leggings can be a hard look to pull off but adding some sky high booties will elongate your legs. If you’re still not comfortable with leggings, you can swap them out for a sequin skirt. I built the second look around these killer Sam Edelman Kayla boots. I actually have these and I’m dying to pair them with a sexy dress for New Year’s. My outfit will probably look a lot like this one. Add some fur for a little luxe (and warmth) and party the night away. Which look is your favorite?
New Year’s Eve is just a week away. Are you party ready? If not, don’t freak out. I’ve got two great outfit ideas for you. This is the biggest party of the year so go out with a bang and wear something extravagant. Go for the gold in a sexy, strapless, gold dress and make it even more luxe with a fur bolero. If your not the flashy type, try a sophisticated jumpsuit with large, sparkly earrings. Either look will help you bring in the new year in style. So, head on out to the stores and take advantage of all the after Christmas sales and find yourself a fabulous ensemble. Feel free to share your looks!

Whatever you decide to do this New Year’s Eve, do it fabulously. Many blessings to you and yours in the upcoming year!
Are you still contemplating Thanksgiving Day outfit ideas? Here are two ideas you can toss around. Contrary to what most people think, I don’t think it’s a good idea to wear super loose and comfortable clothes on holidays. This just encourages the likelihood of you overeating and feeling bad about yourself later. Another tip is never go to a party hungry. Always eat a light snack before heading over so you won’t be the guest hogging the appetizer table. I feel you should be relatively comfortable, and of course, adorable. If you’re attending a more formal sit down dinner, I recommend an A-line or skater dress. This silhouette is feminine without being too restrictive. This River Island dress has it’s own pearl necklace embellishment which I paired with an edgier silver moto jacket so it wouldn’t be so girly. Adding opaque tights and classic patent Mary Janes helps ground the look (and keeps your legs warm for those in colder climates). For those attending a more casual gathering, try a nice pair of jeans with some stretch for comfort. I love this mixed texture moto knit jacket. The fur collar adds a touch of sophistication. You can’t go wrong with these sick pair of Marc Jacobs over-the-knee boots! I hope these ideas help you a little. Honestly, I’ll be at home with the hubby for Turkey Day and will be lounging in my fluffy leopard print robe all day
