It’s always nice when a popular trend sticks around long enough to become more readily accessible and affordable to the masses. I remember when statement necklaces became increasingly fashionable a few years ago and they were pretty pricey. Designs were dominated by high-end brands like Dannijo, Ben Amun, and Tim Binns but now the highly covetable closet staple can be found everywhere from Barney’s to Target. I have compiled a few of my favorite styles all for less than $100. Now you can truly start your summer off with a statement!
It’s the holidays which means party, party, party!! There will be many events to attend this season between work, family, and friends, so are you party ready? If the answer is no, feel free to be inspired by this holiday soiree style guide. Some people tend to shy away from traditional holiday colors because they don’t want to seem too literal, but I say go for it! When else can you dress reminiscent of a Christmas ornament and get away with it? Now don’t go overboard with an ugly holiday sweater but try to wear something festive and classy. A red dress is a perfect example and plus you can wear it again. This eye-catching hue will make you the life of the party. Adorn it with glittery shoes and gold jewelry to really shine. If you care to be a little more subtle, try a jewel tone like emerald, royal blue, or plum. Here I paired this gorgeous Modcloth green dress with navy accents. A fun shoe like these Charlotte Olympia kitten pumps will make for a great conversation piece.

Here’s to having all eyes on you at your next holiday party!
I have always been into earrings ever since I got my ears pierced at age 3. Even as a young girl, I wouldn’t even go to the mailbox without earrings on and I would scold my Mother if I caught her out without earrings. I actually still call her out today :-). I remember I had this huge hanging earring tree with a variety of cute stud earrings. I had everything from ballet shoes to cheeseburgers. As I got older, I began to wear big hoop and chandelier earrings. I will admit I went through the whole bamboo earring phase then moved on to finding the most ornate chandelier earrings I could find. Now I find myself wanting to scale down. I have been wearing my hair up mostly because I workout so often and big earrings aren’t very reasonable during a tennis match. I don’t know if it’s just because I’ve been looking for small earrings or if they are really making a comeback, but I’ve noticed that some brands are creating some really cool and unique stud earrings. Kate Spade, Anthropologie, and Modcloth have some absolutely adorable stud earrings in their collections. Here are just a few I like below. Enjoy!
I wish I had the bride and groom earrings to wear on my honeymoon but maybe I’ll get them for my one year anniversary that’s coming up this weekend!
