Sunday Funday at the Shops Around Lenox

I have not enjoyed a Sunday Funday in quite a while, so when my dear friend told me about the Keg party at the Shops Around Lenox I jumped at the chance to go and enjoy a drink or two.  There are many adorable boutiques and restaurants in this plaza including, Lululemon, Fab’rik, American Apparel, Bill Hallman, and my new favorite Deka Atlanta.  I’m pictured below in front of Deka which is a beautiful store carrying luxury athletic gear such as Splits 59, Bia Brazil, Stella McCartney for Adidas, and much, much more! I can see this is going to become a problem for me being that I pretty much live in activewear and this place has many of my favorite brands.

Another boutique you must visit at the Shops Around Lenox is bevello.  The staff at this store are sooo sweet and accommodating and they have the most precious clothes.  The perfect place to find a cute maxi for a decent price or a flirty first date outfit.

I’m posing here with the ladies from Sugar Island Essentials.  They had a beautiful display of their bath teas and body scrubs that all smelled good enough to eat.  For more info email sugarislandessentials@gmail.com or visit them on Instagram.

I hosted a Chloe & Isabel party for some friends of mine a few weeks ago and I’m finally getting the opportunity to post what I received for hosting the party.  I’m wearing my new go-to statement necklace, the Torsade, that pairs perfectly with almost any outfit.  I’m also wearing these gorgeous Retro Glam crystal earrings.  I highly suggest hosting a party because the incentives are ah-mazing! Check out the site here for more info.

Shoe Review: Seychelles Lucky Penny Ankle Boots

I was a little sad that summer was ending until I started noticing all of the pretty new boots that are beginning to debut for fall.  Now that I got these gorgeous Seychelles lucky penny ankle boots, I can’t wait for fall!  I first spotted them in my Anthropologie catalog but actually found them for much cheaper at DSW.  I have skinny ankles so it is often difficult for me to find an ankle boot that doesn’t make my legs look like they are swimming in the boots.  The nice curve on the top of these boots is very flattering and the pewter color is just awesome.  Expect to see these in many of my future posts paired with jeans, skirts, and dresses!

Shoe Review: Two Birds Pump by Seychelles

Welcome to my first shoe review! As a foot and ankle surgeon and self-appointed shoe expert, women are often asking my opinion about what shoes I would recommend.  So I decided that every week I will review a pair a shoes that I either own or I am considering purchasing.  I will rate the shoes by a rating system I have created that targets the most important factors that make a shoe comfortable. 1) Ball-of-the foot comfort. 2) Heel comfort. 3) Tightness. 4) Heel sturdiness 5) overall wearability (can the shoe be worn for >4 hours comfortably).  The shoe will be graded by  with 5  being the highest rating.

The first pair of shoes are what I have considered a good ‘work heel’.  They are the Two Birds Pump by Seychelles.  I love the two-tone brown colors because they compliment so many outfits.
