I have always been into earrings ever since I got my ears pierced at age 3. Even as a young girl, I wouldn’t even go to the mailbox without earrings on and I would scold my Mother if I caught her out without earrings. I actually still call her out today :-). I remember I had this huge hanging earring tree with a variety of cute stud earrings. I had everything from ballet shoes to cheeseburgers. As I got older, I began to wear big hoop and chandelier earrings. I will admit I went through the whole bamboo earring phase then moved on to finding the most ornate chandelier earrings I could find. Now I find myself wanting to scale down. I have been wearing my hair up mostly because I workout so often and big earrings aren’t very reasonable during a tennis match. I don’t know if it’s just because I’ve been looking for small earrings or if they are really making a comeback, but I’ve noticed that some brands are creating some really cool and unique stud earrings. Kate Spade, Anthropologie, and Modcloth have some absolutely adorable stud earrings in their collections. Here are just a few I like below. Enjoy!
I wish I had the bride and groom earrings to wear on my honeymoon but maybe I’ll get them for my one year anniversary that’s coming up this weekend!
As you have probably figured out from my previous Shoe Review posts, I am not much of a flats kind of girl. Being that I’m just under 5’2″ I need all the height I can get. But as much as l love a good heel, sometimes a flat is just necessary so, I look for the cutest or most interesting ones I can find. Case in point, these funky Steve Madden loafers. I love how these shoes have two of my favorite trends in one creation. As far as comfort goes, well…it’s a flat so it’s pretty comfortable. My only criticism is that it could use some cushioning in the sole and a little arch support would be nice too.
Zara is hands down one of my favorite places to shop! This past December I was in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and typically when I shop internationally, I try to avoid going to stores we have in the states. Well, I had to make an exception for Zara. It was summer time there so I was able to shop the spring/summer collection. My girlfriend and I spent over two hours in the store and I ended up getting these shoes (along with several other items) I’m reviewing today. I love that from the front, the shoes appear so innocent with its baby pink color, and then in the back….BAM! Bad ass studs! They have more of a kitty heel and a nice wide forefoot so these babies were made for walking!
