Wedding season continues with another beautiful outdoor wedding. This time the venue was at the picturesque Fox Hall Sporting Club and Resort in Douglasville, GA. I was excited to finally wear this floral Peter Pilotto for Target dress for a beautiful garden wedding. Just take a look at the stunning background!
The colorful floral print on this dress just really popped in the garden setting. Black jewelry accents were a fun way to wear statement jewelry without taking any attention away from the eye-catching dress.
A view of the reception hall and guests eagerly awaiting the bride’s arrival.

The lovely ladies. I apparently didn’t get the memo to wear turquoise or cream…lol!
The glowing bride!
Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Jason Pettie!
I was wearing….
Dress: Peter Pilotto for Target. Necklace: Banana Republic. Cuff: Tory Burch. Shoes: BCBGeneration. Watch: Michele.
It is definitely wedding season! I have back to back outdoor weddings over the next two weekends so I had to get my wedding guest attire in order. The first wedding was at Serenbe Farms. It’s a beautiful self-sustainable, eco-friendly community about 45 minutes outside of Atlanta. Even though there was a threat of rain, I wanted to wear a bright and fun color combo like yellow & turquoise. This is the first bright yellow dress I’ve ever worn. What do you think?
The turquoise accents are a nice cool complement to the hot yellow color.
These gorgeous Vince Camuto wedges were gifted to me by my wonderful friend and owner of Happy Feet Boutique.
Thanks for the lovely photos Valerie Peach!

A tranquil setting for the wedding at Serenbe.
The happy couple! Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Michael Beam!
For whatever reason, the 1984 film The Woman in Red, made a profound impression on my 8 year old brain. The way Gene Wilder’s character was bewitched by Kelly LeBrock in her sexy red dress made me realize the power of a lady in red. Empowered is exactly how I felt when I first slipped this dress on in the dressing room of Tootsies of Atlanta.
I initially bought this dress to wear to a Valentine’s dinner with my husband over a year ago, but he had other plans. The dress remained in my closet while I anticipated my next opportunity to wear such a dress. This past weekend my husband’s childhood friend was getting married so I thought this would be the perfect time to make a great impression in this dress. It’s awkward attending a wedding when your husband is one of the groomsmen. You end up sitting at a table with a bunch of strangers by yourself. This dress gave me just the right amount of confidence I needed to open up and become that social butterfly I have the potential to be.
I just love the fit of the dress and the ruching is very forgiving.
The weather was absolutely perfect for the wedding but I always prepare for indoor air conditioning with a scarf or shawl. Sexy black pumps and gold jewelry finished off the look.
My sister-in-law is getting married next month in L.A. and of course I’ve been pondering on how I want to look. I often turn to sites like Pinterest and Wanelo for inspiration. I came across this gorgeous dress on Pinterest and clicked on the link for the website and was introduced to the world of Aqua by Aqua!
This is a U.K. brand that boasts ultra cool looks for women and men. Their dresses are feminine, sexy, and edgy all in one. I’m so drawn to their current color palette of black and white with pops of pastels and neons. The very architectural gold accessories just really set off the whole look. Check it out and let me know what you think.
